E2 completed. Weather was appalling on Thursday, moving vans that were stuck in the mud. Weather brightened up on Fri/Sat/Sun. Still got aching limbs now!

Still it was good to put my feet up and watch the shenanigans going on at the Regio.
Still got horribly lost both day & night though. Finding the way back to my tent at 3am when the temp was 0c and misty was an ‘experience’ I’d rather forget.
Signposts are definitely needed!

Okay, Steeple Chase was bigger than expected. I managed a 3 mile walk around most of the camps on all days and my feet and legs hate me for it.
Almost enough resources now to build a fane, I have a certain Eternal in mind which might cause some issues, but what the hell 😉

Slowly gearing up for #Empire E1. Every other nation appears to be a satellite of Varushka, which is how it should be. Slowly getting my kit together, contemplating what stuff I can add to my staff and ensuring my soft kit is moth free. May be some other purchasing going on…

E3 done. 1 more until the move to Cambridge. At the moment my legs are on strike and my neck won’t move properly thanks to sleeping on the ground. Record attendance- over 4,500 people and I am expecting more at the final event.

Oh look - I have pneumonia. Lucky me. Verdict is in: it bloody sucks - if my blood oxygen level drops from 91% (current level) to 90% then it will be hospital time. Do not pass ‘go’ or collect £200.

So E1 has been and gone. Think I might have stretched myself too far but managed a lot of things, including: hunt for a lost Varushkan crown, turning 4 people into berserkers, trying to corner the ilium market, told not to make contact with a Sovereign (which I ignored) etc.

Started running - 3 days later shin-splint again. Need to find a running route through one of nearby woods, just running on concrete paths since it is very convenient and doesn’t involve me being taken half a mile to start.

My daughters cat (she is staying with us whilst her flat is being refurbished) has bitten and scratched my leg now on 5 occasions. Each bite had got deeper and deeper and we were considering last night going to A&E.
He hates me and the feeling is mutual.

In an effort to make the return journey from Varushka to Wintermark in less than 2 days, I have joined a gym to try and raise my cardio fitness. Yes I know it is only 6 weeks to go and I am likely to be a total exhausted wreck but it is the thought that counts. I think.
