Watched the '89 Pet Sematary movie. Lacks the tension, pacing, terror, and power of the book. But as its own film, it's kind of just fine. Decent atmosphere at times, good score, has some solid direction, and features good performances from Crosby, Gwynne, & Cat. Midkiff is miscast as Louis.

And that's the end of my KH1 replay. With age and replays, I find myself more critical of its shortcomings, but also more appreciative of the things it does differently from the rest of the series. But on the whole, it still brings me joy. It's good. Innovative, weird, and unique.

In all my years of playing Kingdom Hearts, there's been one challenge I've never cleared, that one thing that's been a thorn in my side since playthrough one. Well, tonight that changed. Tonight I can finally say EAT SHIT, SEPHIROTH, YOU OVERCOMPENSATING TWIT.
