My original final line for this review was “Get fucked.” Sometimes you throw things in you know will get thrown out.
Matchbox The Movie is exactly what you expect from a movie tied to wee metal cars that don't do anything except roll.

Anyone who tunes into this should be put on a list. And everyone on that list should be trapped inside one of those floating phantom zone saltines.
Some things make me angry. This makes me want to fucking SCREAM. Making it available to the victims' families is one thing. Streaming it live to the public is just playing into people's bloodlust, and it's gross.

Fort Hood Shooter’s Execution Will be Public and Streamed Live, Pentagon Says
If carried out, the public execution of Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan by firing squad set for Dec. 3 would be the first in modern U.S. history.

This was my son’s first Bond movie and he loved it so at least I’ve done one single thing right in my lifelong boo boo shit parade

Skeleton Crew ruled. Tons of fun. The problem is, as I’ve said before, Star Wars fans are very good at articulating what they want and very bad at wanting what they’ve articulated.
Skeleton Crew (a show Jon Watts showran, created, and directed 2 episodes of) has everything people claim they want in Star Wars.
A simple story almost completely separated from the wider Saga that focuses entirely on new characters. But y'all didn't watch it so you think Watts can't do a SW movie.

If you saw The Weight and liked it, please repost. It would be great if this thing became a sleeper hit because it's 100% original.
"The main character, Ethan Hawke‘s Samuel Murphy, might be Steinbeck’s plainspoken Tom Joad reimagined as an action hero...Hawke understands that in movie acting, sometimes the best approach is to let your face do the talking."
