Eikthúrnir (Norwegian: Eikþyrnir, meaning "oak-horned") is a mythical deer in Norse mythology. According to the Elder Edda, Eikthúrnir stands on the roof of Valhalla and eats the leaves of a European ash tree, Yggdrasil. The water that drips from his horn is the source of all rivers.
