This is a brilliant preservation project. Flash Museum has archived over 130,000 Flash games and animations and made them playable again right in your browser. When Adobe killed Flash in 2021 a huge chunk of internet history nearly disappeared forever. https://flashmuseum.org/

There were some bad video game tie ins over the years but Simpsons Skateboarding somehow passed me by. Released in 2002 for the PS2, clearly trying to cash in on the skating game craze.

Pandemic Studios ran a promotion for Mercenaries 2 in 2008 where they offered free fuel to gamers. It was an absolute disaster. With oil prices at record highs, the queues were massive and the whole thing descended into chaos. One of the most ill-timed and shambolic gaming promotions ever.
