A punk rock Mister Rodgers, and recovering edgelord, with gamer geek cred and more ideas than ways to implement them.
A fictional novel about the challenges of old money versus new money in the cannabis industry: The Grape Gassy

I find it curious how all the discussion around generational divides are between boomers, millennials, and Gen z. Where's Gen x in this conversation? Or more to the point, why hasn't Gen x been in the conversation for so long?

I find it funny that Trump's start in the entertainment industry was as an Easter egg in Home Alone 2: Lost in New York as the owner of Trump hotel that shows Kevin where the elevator is.

I feel like he would have done much better work in cinema as a projectionist.

Look, my memory of Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas isn't perfect, but I remember Oogie Boogie as a fat sack of fetid remains that was propped up by maggots.

I think I have my next nickname for the unpopular Donnie.

So potus is importing beef and selling it below market price to lower costs?

This is the same guy who is capturing wild horses and selling them internationally for slaughter?

I hope these two actions aren't connected. I'd hate to find out our horse meat is being sold to us as beef...

At what point do we call Schrodinger's Senator by the name best best suits him: Lich McConnell.

He's clearly undead at this point, and capable of magic to produce those "proof of life" images. When do we acknowledge that we have an undead sorcerer in the Senate?

Describe your music taste in 3 artists, no genres

1) Jonathan Coulton
2) Green Day
3) Naoki Maeda

Hope that's eclectic enough for you.

Does anyone have a feeling that the US government is pushing for a robotic army because they recognize that their current actions are turning the people against themselves, and they will need an unquestioningly loyal force to stand up against the retailiation of the people?

What's the difference between a real man and a strong man? A real man lifts others up because he knows his value isn't connected to how people compare him to others but on his actions. A strong man lifts others up to slam them down into the ground.

Inspired by my boss's strong man quote.

@steveshives.bsky.social I know you've done quite a bit on YouTube with the fake news channel FQX, but it might soon be time to make another parody channel, SeeBS.

@colbertlateshow.bsky.social Last show. The Aristocrats joke, but the punchline is "The Epstein Class".

Question: If Republicans are so ready to stop gun control conversations after a shooting to "respect the victims" why are they using the white house correspondents dinner to push for the ballroom finding? What happened to respecting the victims in their trying time?

Don't answer, I already know.

Interesting thought: If the current administration is "running the government like a business", that information me that all businesses are criminal endeavors that will turn fascist given enough time.

As such, we should look into alternatives to capitalism, as to avoid further fascism.

Question: Can People in the American government who aren't... that... take a look at the growing cannabis industry along with some historians who specialized in the end of prohibition and how those who succeeded most in the industry wound up being organized crime so history doesn't repeat itself?

I guess Gandalf the Grey, Gandalf the White, Month Python and the Holy Grail's Black Knight, Benito Mussolini, the Blue Meanie, Cowboy Curtis, Jambi the Genie, RoboCop, Terminator, Captain Kirk, Darth Vader, Lo Pan, Superman, every single Power Ranger...

If any New Jersey representatives or Senate members need filibustering ideas, I'd love to talk to you about Rock Band 2's 'Bladder of Steel' achievement, and how a simple presentation could hold the floor for 24 hours.

How in the ever living fuck can Paramount be so willing to fire Colbert in order to guzzle the knob of that guy while also greenlighting that beautiful season of Star Trek: Starfleet Academy? Make this make sense.

If only there was a guy who was involved on both sides of this coin to clarify...

When the Dems take the house and Senate, they should impeach the SCOTUS first, then don't let a single fascist nominee get a single vote on the floor. Let the majority leader say "the people should decide with the next POTUS how the SCOTUS gets filled". Turnabout's fair okay, right?

It's funny, I've realized that the "British video game review" voice in my head has fully transitioned from John "TotalBiscuit" Bain to @yahtzeecroshaw.bsky.social at this point.

Not that either is better or worse, just that this is your reminder to check for ass cancer.

John's words.

Look, I don't have much disposable income, but the moment Colbert opens his Patreon, I intend to find $5 a month to throw at him.

So I caught up with Starfleet Academy, and I'm surprised it's getting flack. I look forward to wherever it goes, based on what I see as it's sci-fi parallels to today:
The Burn is 9/11
Starfleet Academy is a push for traditional American idealism
The war college is post 9/11 political ideology

I've been thing about the musician Meat Loaf. He appeared on Celebrity Apprentice and formed a friendship with DJT, but when DJT announced he was running for POTUS in 2016, Loaf said in an interview that he wouldn't make a good POTUS, and pushed back against DJT when he tried to strongarm him.

You know, there's this idiom: trumped-up. It's definition is "invented as an excuse or false accusation".

I think we need to start using this idiom frequently, as to associate someone's name with the false charges they claim.

So here I am, thinking about how annoyingly funny it is that ADHD can cause subconscious personal awareness blind areas as I actively throw my foot into the laundry basket, jamming some toes in the gaps. Sigh...
