When Trump is finally defeated, remember that the hangers-on and the ghouls surrounding him, the JD Vances of the world, will all claim that they were trying to moderate his evil and they should be thanked.

And we need to remember that this is a lie. They were willing to do anything for power.

It is a sign of the total failure of our constitutional order that, a mere six years after we were all desperately praying for a miraculous scientific breakthrough to end the worst global pandemic in a century, that the President of the United States can do what he did today & face no consequences.

Re: Ezra Klein.

Normally this is where I'd quote Chomsky but he's in the Epstein files so fuck him.

Klein learned where his bread was buttered in the journalism space and has moved accordingly.

Their moral center is attention and money.

If that isn't a tell, then nothing is.

Sam Alito asking an extended hypothetical question about whether members of an Iranian sleeper cell would get U.S. citizenship is only lending further support to my theory that season 5 of '24' pickled the brains of an entire generation of Republican voters

Mueller absolutely saved Trump’s ass. He’s just too stupid to realize it. That’s the irony that’s screwing us all. The institutionalists keep institutionalizing while Trump sets about destroying them.

Days after declaring total victory and boasting that no other military could match the US, Trump is now begging other countries — including China — to send warships to stop his Iran war from spiraling into catastrophe.

A galactic humiliation.

Someone please talk to the two Dems running against Case in the primary and for the love of God work out who can step aside. The only reason Case was elected in the first place was the clown car primary that had fifty bajillion candidates in it.
These 4 House Democrats voted Yes on the SAVE ACT. Let's get some primaries on them.
Ed Case from Hawaii
Henry Cueller from Texas
Jared F. Golden from Maine
Marie Gluesenkamp Perez from Washington
These 4 voted with Republicans to disenfranchise voters. Women will be hurt especially. Shame on them

It baffles me to this day how a white, aging Gen X crank like Napier continues to have a platform in Hawai‘i to spew outright falsehoods under the guise of both sides journalism. That he manages an outlet with the word aloha in its name is also pretty sickening.

Truly amazing that any time the democrats have to bite the bullet and do something that ruins countless lives, there's always *just* enough votes to get it done, but if there is a vote on something that would actually improve people's lives, they are always one vote short. Crazy how that happens.
