Something nice about this was (besides some friends) nobody knew my gender identity and I was still mostly called they (with a couple shes but whatever). As I’ve become further cemented in who I am, I’ve enjoyed.. not? Divulging who I am? And letting folks usually reach the right answer naturally

Pleased to say I’m back with this archives for another couple months at least! Since I’ll also be doing a full courseload to finish my MLIS, I don’t anticipate having much time to myself but I am making space to continue scanning, I pwomise
As my summer position draws to a close, I’ve been shocked at how emotional I am at it ending? I’ve loved working in a ‘real’ archives. I’ve loved helping the public. I’ve loved knowing I’m making a difference. I am very anxious to find a way to come back 🥹
