People have asked, so here is a list of organizations moving the needle in Tennessee in a positive direction for human rights and voter engagement. This is incomplete, and there are many local orgs focused on specific counties and regions of the state too.

Many of my readers have been concerned about the anti-trans ballot measures passing.

But there are already plans underway to ensure that they never go into effect.

Court challenges are incoming, and the state courts are very good.

I cover all measures here.

I want to point out that turning against trans people did not help a single Democrat. So quit it and fix your hearts.

This may be the first honest thing I've ever heard him say.
DeSantis: "Let's just be clear about what happened last night. This is as close to an extinction-level event for Republicans in many parts of the country probably as we have seen in the last 100 years ... if the Republican Party doesn't have Texas an anchor, we're not going to be viable nationally"

I'm old enough to remember people who do nothing, don't live in the South, but like to pretend to be experts on regional politics saying that Georgia would never flip blue. I also remember speaking with actual grassroots organizers saying it was absolutely gonna shift if people kept doing the work.

The night was incredible for transgender people, but this morning, the work begins.

Anti-trans dems won in some places, but their voices are HEAVILY diluted with pro-trans dems winning R+30 seats. We must move them or remove them.

And the ballot measures can be fought in court and will.
Yes the anti-trans dems won but like… EVERY Dem won. Even the pro trans ones in R+30 areas.

"The American people don't want us to get even; they want us to get things done on their behalf."

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, who is now poised to become the next House Speaker, says that Democrats will focus on affordability concerns and not retribution after their midterm wins.

The results are in: Election Night 2026 was a stunning rebuke of anti-trans politics.

From the western congressional district of Montana to a blue Texas, Republicans spent $200 million in anti-trans ads.

They suffered one of the worst defeats in history.

More history tonight!!

Georgia didn’t just send Jon Ossoff back to the U.S. Senate.

Voters elected Bentley Hudgins as the first trans, nonbinary lawmaker in the state legislature.

These are the first respectable politicians with spines some young voters have had the opportunity to support. Amazing what integrity and care for other humans can inspire.
🔥U MICHIGAN STUDENT: “We grew up with a president who doesn’t respect the office… people who vote for @abdulelsayed.bsky.social are the most pro-America… Abdul, @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social, who are personable + bring respect back to politics, is the reason the younger generation vibes with them."

I'm sure the fact that these are all Democratic strongholds or left leaning counties is pure coincidence.

That video making fun of millenials seems like a primarily white problem to me. I'll be laughing until they do one with an Erykah Badu track about Black millenials pretending to be spiritual and grounded.
