hey all! I'm ReallDeall, just a regular person working a job at a soulless corporation. I'm making a game called Ace of Hearts. It's a chat-sim romance inspired by other games like ERROR143 and Blooming Panic!
I've been thinking about this during this week and I am going to be taking a break/rolling out slower updates. There's a lot going on at the moment in my life so the smaller patch is just going to become a EOM update. Then potentially Dakota's route in the upcoming months! #vn #renpy #gamedev

I just finished writing the final draft for the James Route, so the update is absolutely on schedule for August 31st. I'm so excited about this one (as you can tell) but this is definitely a big one. Looking forward to seeing people's reactions to this route :) #renpy #vn #gamedev #visualnovel

Very excited for how JK's route is turning out. He is unapologetically my favorite. Dan's first session (S1) is going to come out at the same time cause I want to make sure I'm not neglecting the last 2 romance routes 🙏So no updates this week! #gamedev #vn #visualnovel #renpy

quick update, but I don't know if Dan's S1 is feasible by the end of this week. I shall see tomorrow. Been focusing on the full James Route, so I may just hold off on Dan's S1 update until JK's route is fully released.

Just to update: I should be able to introduce a quick story update that contains some of James' romance route. But my goal is to release that and the first portion of Dan and Dakota's routes by EOW, then finish James' route afterwards! Fun stuff lol #renpy #dev #vn #gamedev

I didn't want to call it but I want to make sure I spend a good amount of time on this update so it's in the best possible state. I've made so many improvements, it's definitely a better version of Lexacon's route than when I started.

I imagine I'll get a lot done over this weekend, but I found a bug that was preventing progress through the different "phases/sessions" so I've been working this week. I had some friends test run the game and they shone a good light on some issues, so feedback is always valuable #dev #visualnovel
