The reckless closeout rules need to change in both the W and the NBA. Too many shooters jump into the defenders cylinder and get rewarded. The rule was established because defenders were invading a shooter's cylinder and creating a dangerous landing zone. Now it's the opposite.

Flipped over to the NFL game and man, it is pretty disgusting to hear Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit do their best to rehabilitate the image of a sexual predator. Switching back to WNBA (and staying there).

The Lynx are ending too soon again this year. I had fairly low expectations heading into the season, but this team has given me so much joy at a time when there hasn't been enough to go around here in the Twin Cities. Thank you Lynx! See you next season. I'll see some of you at Unrivaled!

And where is the pick n' roll with Olivia and Natasha or Phee? So many forced drives to the basket with high degree of difficulty shots into the teeth of the defense. Nothing inside/out to get open 3's. So much dribbling without putting any pressure on the D. It's like they forgot everything.

Still time to turn it around, but this Lynx team lost their mojo heading into the FIBA break and haven't gotten it back. Bad shot selection, poor passing, limited ball movement, slow in transition, lazy switches on D to give up easy mismatches. I don't recognize this team at all.

Lynx with only 24 pts in the second half in 16+ minutes. Probably Olivia's worst game of her career. One of the only times she has looked like a rookie all season. Best road team in the league will have to prove it on Tuesday.

I don't think it is a coincidence that two of the loudest voices in the fight for WNBA equality, improved resources, and quality of referees (Phee and Cheryl) are consistently disrespected by the refs and the league. Imagine if this is how the NBA treated Popovic and Duncan.

Other than Nia, no Lynx played to their standard in the first half and they still are up four. Need to come out with their hair on fire to start the 3rd quarter.

I don't think there is a player in the WNBA protected on D more than Jonquel Jones. Somehow Natasha has three fouls, including at least one that was almost no contact 25 feet from the basket but Jones only has two while patrolling the paint like Ray Lewis.
