As I have said, I don’t celebrate any loss of life. But when you preach hate, intolerance, and violence against marginalized people, a certain amount of that is going to come back to bite you. In Charlie Kirk’s case, it was a bullet to the neck from a fellow white supremacist.

I’m stuck at an impasse. On one hand, Trump has really pissed me off and I’m getting tired of the posturing. On the other, I have a 2-year-old son and I don’t want him to grow up without a father or with a father that has a record. I don’t know what to do.
