A huge Trump supporter is CEO of the largest methane super-emitter in the U.S. Their Shreveport facility spewed methane at an average rate of 1.56 tonnes an hour --- 15 times more than the threshold set by a Biden era program! Disgusting disregard for us all.

Knowing the backstory is revealing and important.
More lying per the usual. In this case, grifting credit for things done by others.

For much of my life, I have heard republicans doom-whine about the national debt. They are pretty silent right now.
The congressional switchboard number is (202) 224-3121. Put it in your cell phone. Use it. If you're not calling at least once a week, you're not doing your part.

Trump has been yammering about lowering drug prices for months, and by mathamatically impossible amounts (600% anyone??). More BS from opposite-land.

Justice sure does crawl slow. 16 months after Musk's despicable $1M giveaways to select individual voters in WI's 2025 Supreme Court race (which he sought to buy, saying western civilization was in the balance), the justice system seems to be catching up to his bribery.

Also does not need cooling water, like the idled heat-impacted nukes in France.

Ha. While some enthusiasts see nukes as an answer to climate change, a climate induced heatwave forces the closure of nukes to prevent them from overwhelming local rivers with hot water discharged from cooling towers. What a joke. No cooling water needed for solar and/or wind, btw.
Heatwave tradeoff: electricity or over-warming rivers.

The economy ministry on Saturday issued an exemption to the temperature limits for the heating of the Rhone around the Bugey plant "to ensure the security of the power grid", valid until July 20.

Absolutely true.
Wow! What a colossal waste of time and taxpayer money.

DOGE was the waste, fraud, and abuse.

They blew up people’s careers, hollowed out federal agencies, and now the Trump administration is rehiring because they realized the US government needs people in order to function.

Great interview looking deeper into the why of this protest.
Weeks ago, I spoke directly with Major Jason Watson regarding his planned act of civil disobedience.

What I do not hear enough people discussing is the broader constitutional strategy behind his message.

Great example of how to do it. U.S. -- are you listening??
Probably the best example of a rapid bottom-up energy transition:

Pakistan imported more Chinese solar last year than any country on earth.

No big subsidy, no rooftop scheme, no feed-in tariff. Solar is now around a quarter of electricity.

Pakistan’s solar miracle – how the hell did they do it?
Faced with constant electricity blackouts and a failing grid, people in Pakistan took matters into their own hands. The result is a lesson for the rest of the world, and also a warning

This is good news. But only possible because the wind energy sector and its allies fought back.
