The Greens are calling for a moratorium on new AI data centres.

These power & water hungry data centres will keep us hooked on dirty coal and gas, push back our transition to renewables and threaten our access to drinking water

Today teachers did something incredible - they chose to stand in solidarity with education support workers and reject the Allan Labor Government’s divisive and low ball pay offer.

I know this would have been a hard decision for a lot of teachers.

Israel is grossly breaching international law and kidnaps 11 Australians. The Labor Government instead of taking actions against Israel, blame the people trying to break Israel’s illegal blockade. That’s Labor and they won’t change.

@senatorwong.bsky.social and team must work to secure the urgent release of Australians seized by the IDF yesterday off Cyprus. They were sailing to Gaza with food, medical supplies and other aid, when illegally captured by Israeli forces off Cyprus.

Australia should condemn this action. (2/2)

It’s pretty annoying when your bins aren’t collected. But the real frustration is a state government that's underfunded councils for years, forcing workers to strike just to be paid fairly.

Fund our councils, Premier Allan. #springst

Well put by Adam. With a fuel crisis and upcoming Brunswick level crossing removal works, there's no time like the present for a pop-up bike lane trial on Sydney Road.

If this is true and Avi can find 500 party members, then Victoria's undemocratic Upper House electoral system will work in his favour.

Labor must scrap Group Voting Tickets. Until then, our elections remain open to manipulation by far-right actors.

If RMIT considers itself to be a university, it should reflect on this student's comment rather than attempt to silence her.

Victorian teachers in the AEU have just voted to stop work on Tuesday the 24th of March.

Our teachers are the lowest paid in the country and the Greens fully support them in fighting not just for themselves, but for Victorian students. (¼)

How does Victoria’s underfunding of public schools impact children, families, teachers, and the broader community?

That’s the question we’re hoping to answer on Thursday at the first hearing of the parliamentary inquiry into Vic Labor’s $2.4 billion public school cuts. (1/4)

The Greens are bringing our anti-corruption reforms to parliament again today.

The majority of Victorians want investigation into corruption on Labor’s Big Build - the only people standing in the way are Jacinta Allan and the Labor Party. (1/5)

BREAKING: Labor just blocked the Greens reforms to Victoria's anti-corruption watchdog, preventing it from investigating $15 billion lost to corruption on Labor’s Big Build Projects.

Labor saw the parliament was going to pass the Greens reforms so they pulled the Bill. (1/5)

We show up to school fetes and fundraisers to try and pay for broken roofs, toilets, air conditioners, and just general upkeep of aging schools, while the Labor Government is using the depreciation of our school buildings as an accounting trick to underfund our public schools?

When we learnt tobacco products cause cancer, we started taxing big tobacco companies to pay, at least in part, for the damage they cause.

Why don't we do the same for climate polluters? (½)

Everyone but Labor can see that slamming the door on prevention is a false economy.

Right now, they don't have to numbers to get a Bill to abolish VicHealth through the upper house, but Jacinta Allan still defended the short-sighted plan.

Not surprised that Victorian teachers are considering industrial action.

Vic teachers are the lowest paid in Aus & last year Jacinta Allan's Labor Gov cut $2.4 billion from public schools, most of which would have gone to boosting school staff & increasing teacher salaries. 1/4

I got into politics because as a doctor I saw big tobacco, junk food, alcohol and gambling corps driving preventable illness for profit.

Watching the Allan Labor Gov effectively close VicHealth is depressing and shows how little they value prevention. 1/2
