Minneapolis taught us how to respond to fascist attacks: ppl need to be shutting it down for trans rights in Kansas over this. Nothing should move until this is rescinded. We have the ability to fight & win, we aren't powerless and we don't have to wait hopelessly for Electeds to decide to save us.
Transgender adults in Kansas have received letters ordering them to surrender their drivers licenses until they obtain a new one with a marker reflecting their sex assigned at birth.
Their current licenses are now invalid.

The real issue here is that they're using basically forced labor, subject to literal military discipline, who cannot refuse orders, instead of allocating funding for public sector jobs. Attacking the Guardsmen solves nothing.

Amazing how much of American reactionism is just temper tantrums about things changing from when they were kids. Too bad they aren't crying foul about the disappearance of cold winters and good union jobs, it's just things like "we let gays kiss in public" and "my kid knows Spanish from her friends"
