please take trans representation as seriously as gay representation. please show the same passion and frustration you do when a gay coded character is assumed/depicted/insisted as straight, when it's a trans coded character assumed/depicted/insisted as cis

this is something that's been on my mind for ages, but in my wow otp, both characters are equally confident, assertive, and ambitious. and yet ever since this pairing came to be, in fics, one of them was so often depicted as cold hearted and aggressive, while the other docile and a push over

my friend once commissioned an artist to draw two drawings of wow otp, one with rainbow flag and the other with trans flag, and the artist only posted the rainbow flag one and I remember it making my friend really sad. the drawing is really cute but when I look at it it's hard not to think of that
