In Trump's second term, Bezos has received...

-Huge new tax cuts for himself and Amazon
-Millions of dollars in new Blue Origin federal contracts
-A slap-on-the wrist FTC settlement for Amazon
-A gutted NLRB led by a union-busting lawyer

No wonder he's been such a Trump sycophant.

NEW: Republicans asked a Georgia court to stop Gwinnett County from allowing voters to hand-deliver mail-in ballots at early voting sites without drop boxes.

The request comes a day after a state judge threw out its challenge to the county's expanded mail ballot return policy.

“The race for Nevada's 2nd Congressional District shouldn't be competitive, just based on history and math. But the Republican Party's nominee, David Flippo, is facing an unusually tough race despite having President Trump's endorsement.”
Carpetbagger allegation, misplaced valor make Nevada's safe red House seat competitive
Northern Nevada has a reliably red congressional seat, represented by a Republican since it was drawn in the early 1980s. A complicated candidate and a potential blue wave this year could change that.

Young teenagers are less likely to identify as lesbian, gay or bisexual than a few years ago, according to a new analysis.

“It really does look like a free fall,” Jean Twenge, a professor of psychology, said. “But what’s causing it is unclear.”

New leadership is desperately needed
A big problem is the lack of any coordinated resistance by Schumer and Jeffries, so Democrats end up saying a bunch of different things at once and none of it gets through.

I'm convinced Schumer and Jeffries are getting paid under the table, not joking. Only explanation.

What is going on with our president?

Calling people "THE ENEMY" for exercising their First Amendment rights is deeply disturbing.

That's what autocratic leaders do, not American leaders.

Doing so for such a trivial, vain matter is just nutty.

What the hell is the point of that? It’s like an in-person published candidate Q-and-A. How is this not a scam, lol
NEW: A source familiar with the Colorado Chamber of Commerce Gov forum says the candidates were provided with moderator Ed Sealover’s questions, word for word, in advance.

Was about to say these people have no grasp of history but now thinking they very much do.
Whoa. @haleaziz.bsky.social has the scoop on a truly insane plan to use some military training ships for deportations, with people presumably shackled or locked in cells for days at a time as they transit to Central and South America.

Each journey would be staggeringly expensive — and dangerous.

Journeys to destinations including El Salvador and Venezuela could take days and cost millions. Officials cautioned that discussions are still preliminary.

I emailed the registrar of voters asking why I was moved to inactive. I am attaching the email exchange to this. I feel like we definitely need an explanation from the secretary of state office for what led to this error. What were they doing trying to do to cause this?

Trump announced disaster aid for the state of Wisconsin on Wednesday in a decidedly partisan manner, crediting a Republican candidate in the state’s gubernatorial race rather than Wisconsin’s current Democratic governor, who originally made the request for aid.
