Remember the Age verification rollout they tried to enforce globally? Remember how where it was 'forced' to roll out in the UK and other places it had ID's and private info leaked they promised would be deleted?

 earlier this year, users who get estimated to be Teens will lose access to the following:
- Age-gated Servers and Channels
- Speaking in Stage Channels
- Ability to unblur potentially sensitive media
- Ability to turn off message requests (all new/unknown DMs have to go through message requests first)
alongside other settings Discord deems safer for teens.
If you **do not want to verify your age** you can keep using your Account, but the features mentioned above will remain restricted. Discord is **not** disabling you or preventing you from using the rest of the platform.
Discord has also been working on **new ways to verify**, including **OS-provided signals (iOS, Android)** and verification via **payment providers**.
