I think I would like to host a krbk week. I’m leaning towards something like a krbk au week, but I don’t have the details figured out yet

But if I did this, would Feb be a good time? Like too much/too little time? I was thinking Valentine’s Day and announce prompts this month

Bakugou thinks for a moment, “After having someone to compete with you for so long, I guess it felt weird to keep going without that. And I had other shit that needed my attention, so not much time to think about the tests.” Bakugou sighs, heaviness in the space between his breath and words, “Anyway, I was just… stuck for a few years. Forgot who I was and what I wanted. Forgot the dream that I was so fucking ready to give everything up for.”

Bakugou’s steps morph closer, crossing more into Kirishima’s space until their stepping in line with each other. Hands brush as they walk, lingering for seconds too long. Every now and then, Kirishima feels a pinky hook onto his own, and Kirishima can’t remember if they’re hooked for hours or seconds, but either way, it makes his cheeks flare red.

“So what… snapped you out of it?” Kirishima asks, trying to focus on words and not hands.

Bakugou looks to around, ensuring no one is in earshot, “If you ever tell Deku this, I will kill you on the spot.” He waits for Kirishima to give him a nod, then continues, “He sort of gave me this dumb speech about how I was staying stagnant, and it finally whipped my ass into gear to start looking into the tests again. And fuck, I forgot how expensive they were. So it was either take to the streets or get a second job. And luckily Uraraka could help me get a second job because even after all this time… I really fucking want this. And I know I’m good enough to get it.”

“Following your dreams and living without regrets…” Kirishima says, more to himself but Bakugou hums an acknowledgement. “Dude. That is so…

“Manly?” Bakugou smiles, almost a laugh.

“Noble…” Kirishima whispers, “Do you know how incredible you are Bakugou?”

The blonde stops at those words, and Kirishima follows. They stare at each other for what feels like hours, red iris’s sparkling in the moonlight.

Kirishima can see hints of pink at the tips of Bakugou’s ears and the apples of his cheeks, and the moment he realizes he’s been too focus on the hues of his face, he feels the man’s forehead pressed up against his own.

Hands slip down, grasping both of Kirishima’s, holding them tight like they might dart away.

“I don’t think you know what you’re saying, Kirishima,” Bakugou’s breath is warm and hits the redheads lips like honey. “I don’t think you know what you’re doing to me.”

Kirishima look up to meet Bakugou’s eyes, “Why don’t you show me then?”

Bakugou lifts his head, bringing their noses closer. Kirishima feels his hand trace along the back of his neck, thumb pressing along the structure of his jaw. Kirishima’s breath trembles as Bakugou gets closer and closer, anticipating the taste of his lips on his tongue.

And then he pulls back.

“Goodnight Kirishima…” Bakugou gives his hand one more squeeze before he’s walking off into the darkness of night.

Kirishima looks up to find himself at his apartment building–alone. Part of him wonders what the blonde meant (about anything he had said that night honestly), another part wonders if Kirishima really was just too drunk to catch it.

He sighs and walks inside to hopefully immediately crash into his bed.

Another day. He’ll try again another day.

Kacchan’s Matchmakers
Midoriya: KIRISHIMA

Midoriya: Do you like kacchan?!?!?

Uraraka: I SWEAR I didn’t tell him Kiri!

Uraraka: But he did request for your number😭

Uraraka: I had no clue this is what he’d do with it?

Midoriya: I KNEW there was something between you two!

Midoriya: I knew it I knew I knew it!

Kirishima💪🏼: Woah!

Kirishima💪🏼: Uh… Hi guys😅

Kirishima💪🏼: Why…

Kirishima💪🏼: Why is Todoroki here?

Todoroki: Because I am Bakugou’s best friend

Kirishima💪🏼: Right…

Kirishima💪🏼: Um… yeah, I like Bakugou

Kirishima💪🏼: That isn’t like. A problem is it?

Uraraka: No!

Midoriya: Never!

Midoriya: Like the exact opposite of a problem

Kirishima💪🏼: Oh well! That’s good!

Kirishima💪🏼: This is a bit…

Kirishima💪🏼: intimidating

Todoroki: Understandable

Kirishima💪🏼: So if Uraraka didn’t tell you, how’d you find out?

Midoriya: Well I’ve had my suspicions for a little while now. It’s very rare that Kacchan mentions anyone else besides the three of us to me and even more rare that he invites people over to the bar.

Midoriya: And yes, of course I was hoping there was something more between you guys, but I didn’t want to pry either. It’s not my place, and Kacchan would probably throttle me if I had intervened earlier.

Uraraka: Honey

Midoriya: But Kacchan had maybe mentioned to me the other day that you and him had a talk about something and I jokingly was like “because you liiiike him?” and then he got weirdly silent and I made him tell me everything

Todoroki: Midoriya

Midoriya: He probably didn’t tell me everything honestly. You know how Kacchan is…

Midoriya: But I know that you told him you like him😆

Summary:

Kaminari has completely come to terms with the fact that Kirishima and Mina are dating. Sure, they don’t act like a typical couple. Sure, they seem to be in love with other people. Sure, they’ve never kissed in front of him, but he’s accepted it all by now. So when he hears some risqué activities happening in two separate rooms with two separate people, he’s a bit… distraught. And Confused.

Sero ✌🏽: I… don’t think that’s going to happen

Kirishima💪🏼: How would you know?

Sero ✌🏽: From what I’ve seen, he’s pretty honest

Sero ✌🏽: I think if he had a problem with you, he’d tell ya

Sero ✌🏽: I saw him run a customer out of the bar once because he apparently worked with Camie at some point and was a creep to her.

Sero ✌🏽: If he’s still having flirty banter with you, I don’t think you need to worry too much yet

Kirishima💪🏼: I wouldn’t say it was flirty

Sero ✌🏽: Dude.

Sero ✌🏽: It was 100% flirty

Sero ✌🏽: Stop overthinking it and go to sleep

Sero ✌🏽: Early shift tomorrow, remember😕

Kirishima💪🏼: Fuck…

Kirishima💪🏼: Okay yeah
