Reform UK, Plaid Cymru and the Conservatives have all expressed their support for a badger cull in Wales, with only the Greens and Labour standing up for badgers. This is absolutely devastating news. A cull hasn't yet been officially announced, but a decision is expected any time.

Regent House in Dorking was a known nesting site for Common Swifts, but was destroyed this year during nesting season, with Swift nests inside. It is highly likely that safeguards intended to protect nesting birds were not properly followed at the site.

Yesterday, Scotland's Public Finance Minister confirmed data centres over 50MW will need a full environmental impact assessment, and this applies retrospectively. Despite this, the government opposed a moratorium, and MSPs voted 72-32 against a halt on new hyperscale data centre approvals.
