Can any knitters/crocheters help me with picking a yarn brand? A family member requested a hat and scarf. I have issues with texture so I’m hoping for something affordable that isn’t itchy. Soft, warm, but durable enough to machine wash. I’m disabled so i can’t go feel at a LYS #knitsky

When I don’t feel well my dog hates when I get out of bed lmao. I went to get something to eat and now I’m back in bed and she’s laying on me to make sure I don’t get up again. 😂

After casting on like 10 different times I finally was able to start my hat. My hands were having a hard time remembering how to do things. It’s honestly a struggle sometimes with my memory post chemo. It still hurts my joints so I can’t knit as long as I used to either. #knitsky

Andrew Luster was released? WOW. I won’t be surprised if he ends up escalating to murder. I don’t understand how someone sentenced to 124 years gets out in 20 but I also don’t understand how rape is considered a non violent crime.

Mom wants a hat and scarf set that match her new coat and gloves. So I think I will use this project to learn a different style. I’ve been a continental knitter for a bit but I think I want to switch to flicking because my tension with Norwegian purling leaves a bit to be desired. #knitsky

Being GenX/Millennial is such a trip. In our lifetimes, we saw people our age getting wild criminal penalties for pirating music and now have to sit and watch as companies gobble up our work with impunity.
Still trying to understand how Napster got shut down, but Anthropic is going public and still hasn’t paid us authors yet after stealing our work.

Got my mom some bone conducting headphones. I love them. Great for work. I listen to a lot of podcasts and audiobooks and my inner ear was getting so irritated with constant earbud use. These were so worth the grab.

It’s wild but not unexpected that my mom and I get the most dirty looks in our building from other poc. Especially the ones that clearly don’t live there. We get treated like riff raff while fobbing in from the ***visitors*** of other residents.
