Like They still think that dubbing anime is all 4kids tier dubs, even though we’ve been getting solid anime dubs on par with the original since around 2010-11

I have an unpopular opinion that has never not felt justified. Subtitles for foreign language films are bad. If I wanted to read, I would read. I watch a movie to Observe the Image.
Purists claim dubs ruin the intended effect as if it's preferable to spend 2 hours looking at 10% of the screen.
