Season 4 of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds comes to an end, and I couldn'teven finish it because of the gore.
Other Trekkies may complain about "gimmicks," which never really bothered me. I love gimmicks. But the gore and body horror was a dealbreaker. I hope season 5 isn't so grotesque.
