I cover St. Louis City SC and St. Louis University for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. And sometimes the Blues and the Cardinals. And sometimes other things.
City SC's unbeaten streaks right now are at 17 in MLS and 19 in all competitions. The MLS-games-only record is 19, but the all-competition record is 20 (Red Bull New York in 2016), so City SC can tie that on Sunday vs. the LA Galaxy

Galaxy up next for City SC a week from tomorrow
Mexico just announced that Chucky Lozano suffered a hamstring injury in training yesterday, won't play tonight & will head back to the Galaxy tomorrow for recovery.

The injury is a "left biceps femoris musculotendinous junction injury" so...where his hammy connects to the knee, I think?

The not-surprising heir to Tim Ream
Mauricio Pochettino announces that Tyler Adams is the new #USMNT captain - and as Pochettino is quick to add, “our captain again.”

“I’m extremely honored and grateful for the opportunity,” Adams says.

Easiest decision Pochettino will make.
