Why has no journalist asked any member of government the most obvious question of all - namely, why do they think it's OK to touch children without their consent?
It's an open goal, lads.
A recent ad on consent produced by the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre is one of a number of 'warning signs' regarding the use of public money by external organisations, said Simon Harris jrnl.ie/7210067
‘We don’t need ad campaigns lecturing citizens’: Simon Harris calls for greater control of NGOs
Harris’s comments follow a controversial ad on consent produced by the Dublin Rape Crisis Centre.

1. NGO’s are already cowered regularly by Govt threatening to withhold funding.
2. What sort of Trumpian eejit thinks the best way to distract from his bullying controversy is to wade into another controversy?
3. I hope he leads Fine Gael forever.

Great to discuss social change and constitutional futures with @tonygroves.bsky.social

The unity conversation remains a genuine opportunity to advance transformative agendas across Ireland - openly, honestly and collaboratively.
Chatting with Human Rights Law Professor at QUB, Colin Harvey, (@cjharvey1.bsky.social) now about how Micheal Martin joining the Irish Unity Conversation could impact wider society in terms of engaging with the opportunity a United Ireland could offer for all. Out soon.

"We have to have a debate about migration!"
Why, then, is the only "debate" they want to have centred on control and reduction, casting those who migrate as burdens and threats?
I'd debate any fucker on migration, but they're too scared to discuss anything beyond their fucking Facebook algorithm.

He’ll be on with Brendan O’Connor this weekend where undoubtedly someone will raise the scourge of impolite leftists and angry working class proles.

The guy who called for a SF TD’s house to be burned down, accused another elected rep of creating a rape case, and who is a regular on RTE, Newstalk, Virgin etc, is in the Irish Times talking about ending Fine Gael’s woke era.
Superb.

And that bohs derives from the Dublatin word ‘bohsie’ (bowsie), which means people with too much disposable income and not yet enough jerseys.

Save our neutrality meeting 7pm this evening. Save the triple lock!

(Yes, I know cork as part of the UK is a NATO member, but many cork people have dual citizenship)

Rare BlueSky appreciation tweet:
While I fret about the liberal capitalist architecture of this platform, I feel somewhat rest assured that none of its users would ever accuse me of journalism, and that’s not nothing.

Phibsborough was founded during the Viking period. At that time it was the only settlement between the Liffey and the Tolka. The tower, like today, was used mainly for defensive purposes and yoga classes. Locals built the canal decades later as they needed a place to store their e-cargo bikes.
Just saw a review online that referred to Phibsboro as "the old town" of Dublin

Maybe don’t carry an American flag and stop wearing your Hulkamania t-shirt every time you go to Lidl? Just a suggestion.

Conor, if he was a serious academic and researcher, would point out that with the supply of these books surpassing demand the price will fall shortly. Because Econ 101.
;)
The irony of a real estate site distorting the market for a book on the housing crisis is just... oh man, you gotta love the Irish bourgeoisie 😂

They’re calling it a wealth tax on the 1%. But really it’s the intolerant left attacking a tiny minority, and that’s wrong no matter how much money they have | the Irish Times view on how much more handsome Simon Harris looks since returning from paternity leave

Or how housing, healthcare, childcare and cost of living are #ProChoice issues
I mean, it is true that Ireland's population isn't growing quickly enough, but no one who loudly complains about the birthrate ever wants to hear the actual solution (more immigration)

I am refusing to attend joint official duties with Michelle O’Neill.

I’ve changed the password on the Joint First Minister’s Netflix account.

I’ve had a skip placed in her parking spot at Stormont.

I left a one star review at her favourite nail salon.

This is only the beginning.
