Over 40 minutes until school lets out (early release) and the line is already around the building? Do other folks really not have anything to do during the day?! I've come two hours before release for an emergency and people were already waiting for dismissal. It's bonkers.

Cool, so, there's 170 confirmed cases of dengue fever in the county just north of me -- maybe I'll stick to indoor markets until the first freeze. Last thing I want to deal with is a painful hemorrhagic virus, omfg.

I know I go on and on about new albums, newly discovered albums, etc, but I'm aware that on a most days I'll still fall into one of three record loops: Flamboyant (Dórian Eléctra), Pórtishead (Pórtishead), or 13 Ways to Blééd Onstage (Cold), played on repeat. Novelty is trumped by familiarity lol

So my new boss thinks I'm great with computers because I fixed his keyboard. Not really -- when you're a brokie, you always change the batteries and hope the thing still works. His wireless keyboard had dead batteries. Calloo callay, I'm a computer genius lol

There's a shop on Etsy that males custom printed tights. I will be normal and do normal things with this information -- certainly, I will not find all-over bug prints (or make/commission one, heavy on the millipedes), and have tights made. Certainly not. Anyone got some good jewel scarab pics tho?

I've just applied to be a vendor at the local pumpkin festival -- it's a bit expensive but not prohibitive, and the crowds are worth it!! Fingers crossed 🥰
