TPP Director, Christine Ortiz sat on a panel at the Science Across Boundaries an International symposium taking place this week in Seville, Spain.
Her Excellency the Honourable Ms Sam Mostyn AC presented the 2026 BHP John Monash Scholarship to TPPer Luke Heeney. Thanks to the generous support of BHP, Luke intends to pursue a PhD in Economics. He will use his studies to develop the tools needed to advance Australia’s clean energy transition.

Last Friday, IDS.449 welcomed Dr. Dafna Rand. Dr. Rand served as the US Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor until January 2025. Previously, she directed the US State Department’s Office of Foreign Assistance, overseeing $70 billion in annual US foreign aid.
