Maybe I'm a coward, but I can't handle these political posts on my feed. I'm trying to train the algorithm not to show me them. It's horrible for my mental health.

Everyone gets crossed. That's life. Everyone has a breaking point. That's aftermath. Some people collapse inward, make a shelter out of damage, prove no one can reach them the way they can reach themselves. Others rupture. And whoever's closest inherits the mess. It's honestly Spotify's fault that I'm now going to pirate their app. If they weren't clusterfvcking me with ads everywhich way I turn, I'd be a good boy.

The Pirate Bay has great versions of Spotify with zero ads, forever, just so you know.

Plucked from the ground, I hoped You would bring your beauty home with me. And you did - For about half a day. It didn't take long for your color To fade as you began to wilt, cut off From the environment that nurtured you And gave you all the nutrients You could ever need. The best part of remembering myself is forgetting whatever version I’m remembering. I like when an old idea of me slips out of my hands & crashes somewhere soft where I don’t have to pick it up again. Though sometimes the worst part is wondering if there really was a “better” me, or just a string of approximations that got tired. Like when I try doing something & end up staring thinking about the moment my life zigged instead of zagging—if it even did.

While filling out some papers today I couldn't help but marvel over how nice of a pen he had me use.

As I walked out the door I noticed the pen was tucked behind my ear. Spending an entire second to think it over, I returned it.
