@news.sky.com you've just asked a question about means testing the state pension.

It doesn't need to be, it's taxed, the more income somebody has in their retirement the more likely somebody is to have to pay it all back, without having the additional admin of means testing.

Transparency really should be first. It should be our decision and based on facts rather than tabloid style hysteria.
Voters have been denied the right to know whether any ministers declared past criminal convictions when appointed, after a transparency tribunal upheld Whitehall attempts to keep its vetting processes secret for data protection reasons.

Ministers’ criminal records to remain secret, tribunal rules
The public has been denied the right to know of ministers’ disclosures of criminal records during vetting processes, despite a ‘legitimate public interest’

@news.sky.com I support any decision that keeps Palantir out of Britian. It's a question of sovereignty & morality. Fujitsu couldn't be trusted with the Post Office. Why trust a company whose CEO doesn't pretend to have a moral compass when a British citizen, Paula Venals, is unaccountable.

Angela Rayner accidentally pays less tax than she should have, resigns, and the media gives her hell.

Nigel Farage deliberately pays less tax than he should have, and the media gives him a free pass.

That, right there, is the problem.

It’s a sharp, hopeful intervention in the face of democratic breakdown, and it aligns in profound ways with the epistemic collapse I’ve been tracking in my own work.
