I keep kiddie pools, bowls and saucers of water around my property for the wildlife. They have rocks, stones, and pebbles in them so small critters don't get trapped. Water changed often. Found a little leopard frog living in the kiddie pool behind the barn. Don't even know how he got in there!

Being a billionaire should be illegal. Once a person reaches a billion dollars of income, they should get a plaque saying, "Congratulations, you beat capitalism." And then every new dollar they make be taxed at 100%, and invested into doing good. ~My friend with PhD in economics.

There is zero reason for recreational hunting of wolves, coyotes, mountain lions, bears, foxes and any other non-edible wildlife.
Earlier this week, Wyoming Game and Fish Commission cut the wolf hunt limit by more than half as the population is at a 20-year low. As of Jan. 1, there were 132 wolves in the wolf management area in northwest Wyoming.

The old Irish for Wolf was Mac Tíre, which means son of the land. Ireland still had a population of probably 1,000 wolves in the 1600s, but a campaign to exterminate them was started after the Cromwellian invasion in the middle of that century.
The last known wolf was killed in 1786.

Taco Bell was out of small cups so they put my order of pintos and cheese minus cheese on a platter. On FB, an animal loving (but meat eating 🤔) friend says it looks nasty. I reply that if they think that looks bad, they should walk through a slaughterhouse. Now THAT'S nasty. #vegan #fortheanimals

A patch of golden ragwort (Pakera aurea) growing on our rewilding property. This area was a wheat stubble field when we moved here 40+ years ago. We mostly just let nature do her thing. Anyone with a little property can do this.
