trying to find my people #tiktokban

tiktok is back but it feels different.

observations:
- censorship of certain topics (Luigi, Palestinian hostage release, Palisades fires are all missing from my fyp)
- algorithm is wonky - mostly seeing creators ive never seen before
- LIVE not accessible
- No ads or tiktok shop content on fyp

i guess ill go read that 179 page lawsuit Baldoni filed against Lively/Reynolds now since I don’t have Nuha anymore 😭 💔 #tiktokshutdown

Now would be a great time more than ever to read Parable of the Sower if you haven’t. She so spot on about the times we’re currently living in.

I need #booktok #technews #itendswithusdrama #trumpinauguration roasts and all the amazing things my TT algorithm would curate for me here 😭 where are my people!!

Very sad day, indeed.

Looks like the Tiktok ban is in effect now (7:30pm PST).

bluesky & red note 2025.

新年快乐 💖

(i hope this is correct lol)

Instead of shopping big retailers this Black Friday, support small sellers on Etsy! We would be beyond grateful 🥲

My winter reads list (well, audiobook listens is more accurate):
🎄 The Hobbit
🎄 Where the Library Hides
🎄 Queen of Shadows

Starting this list once I finish Deathly Hallows. Let’s see how far I get!

Public library attacks are coming to your local library. Get a card & use it, or you might just lose it.

in retrospect, we should have known the election results when John was voted off the first episode of survivor 47
