The first site is now open at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, recruiting patients for the new TROG 21.10/TOGA 20-005 PRIME-Lung trial, exploring the role of RT in metastatic non-small cell lung cancer. Sites in Australia, Canada and Ireland will recruit for the study.

It's Prostate Cancer Awareness month & we want to thank the researchers & patients driving trials like TROG 18.01-NINJA, which is exploring if RT can be reduced from 20-40 sessions to 5 -14 sessions for some #prostatecancer patients!

Congrats to all involved in our NINJA prostate cancer trial on reaching the recruitment target of 472 participants across Australia & NZ. The trial is studying new, less onerous SBRT schedules for #prostatecancer.

Do you treat patients with liver cancer? The TROG 21.07 SOCRATES HCC trial, running at 20 sites across Australia and one in Canada, aims to recruit 73 more participants by April 2027, to study the use of SABR for patients with early-stage liver HCC. Read more: trog.com.au/socrates-hcc...

We're launching an international trial of a novel radiation therapy approach for advanced lung cancer. The PRIME-Lung trial will investigate if adding RT to standard systemic treatment soon after diagnosis of metastatic NSCLC improves overall survival.
