Rosi’s CHRIST STOPPED AT EBOLI plays this weekend. Levi (Volontè) is exiled by Mussolini’s fascists. A rumination on inequality and power. Originally released in 55-minute parts, it was cut in half for its 1980 release. This is Rosi’s uncut epic as it was intended with an intermission of 10-15min.
