We watch @alveussanctuary.org on Twitch and it has become a relaxing stream to put on at the end of the day. Recently, we learned that one of the wolfdogs, Awa, has an aggressive cancer and will be put to sleep tomorrow. She is old and tired, but we still feel the sadness.

My mate and I are fine in our relationship. This is just how we feel socially. No one really wants to check in on each other and they don't wanna know how you are other than "fine". The raw truth is that none of us are ok. Yet we are expected to wear a mask to not be uncomfortable to others.

While watching a Freyia North of Norway video, a song was playing in it...one of the repeated lines hit me deep. "Do something that scares you." It helped address an issue I had been wrestling with all weekend.
