@wordblanket.com & I had the privilege of putting on the yearly scavenger hunt for MoPop’s Halloween party. We included this video puzzle (hence the symbols & highlighted subtitles), but I think it turned out pretty great considering we shot it all in just a couple takes in our garage. Check it out!

I had an incredibly memorable time this morning doing the silliest, most fun event: a mall walk thru Lloyd Center, dancing & laughing & letting our inner childs prance. and doing it alongside 3 of my closest and oldest friends. my heart is full 🥹

Finally got a prototype luster fired a year later & it feels good! Yeah, it’s ugly (first time working with porcelain & first time water etching), but there’s an @oshpark.bsky.social circuit board I designed in there & it feels good to realize my vision of conductive glaze as a switch.

Today one of my classmates asked me, “Remember those VHS tapes?” and I just stared at them, waiting for them to finish their sentence, but they were done. They were just asking if I remembered that VHS tapes exist.

I had to play an everyday object like a musical instrument for my Rhythm Training class and of course I had to make it about pottery and play my wheel. I had to stitch in some throwing so it felt slightly less febrile.
