First, I have a finish on the "Winter Fantasy House", a sneak peek at my upcoming "Deserving Joy" pattern, and a very relieved chat about a doctor visit that gave me quite the scare this week. Plus, I need everyone to hold me accountable because Halloween is coming!

This ep has a bit of everything: a speedy 10-day finish on FlossyFoxShop’s "Fall Fantasy House", hanging finishes that have been waiting since 2022, staying caught up on SALs, and a few personal life updates (including my recent diagnosis & early Halloween costume chaos).

A running stitch around the back uses tension instead of adhesives, meaning no sticky mess, no discolouration down the track, and it’s completely reversible if you need.

This fortnight’s episode is a busy one: I’m sharing my new pattern release "Cascadia Edict", testing out a new AI-free marketplace called @fybe-art.bsky.social - showing off a fun haul, and confessing to starting Christmas gift stitching in August.

If I have disabled it, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to re-enable it 😭 For my pattern release I had to use the icon from a previous pattern and recolour it. GAH!

My new Dungeon Crawler Carl cross-stitch pattern is here! Featuring Carl, Princess Donut, and Cascadia’s iconic sign-off. It looks surprisingly chic framed on a wall… until someone actually reads the text. 😆

There’s nothing quite like the quiet rhythm of pulling thread through fabric to help you slow down. Here are a few designs I’ve loved making in the past ❤️

This fortnight features a special care package from Australia with my late Grandma’s heirloom stork scissors, a sneak peek at my next Dungeon Crawler Carl pattern, and progress on bright picnic blankets & cat dragons.

I'm catching up on some chaotic birthday vibes, much-needed back recovery updates, and a major "Flower Prairie" confession involving a mistake I only just realised I made. Whomp whomp.

The pic below is probably my fav of my family growing up, from my 2nd b'day. I’m blowing out candles, while my mum is holding her hand over my brother’s mouth so he wouldn’t "help" me. 😂

My new pattern, "Carl's Creed", is a tangible reminder stitched in thread that you are stronger than the chaos. Let your needle be your grounding practice. 👇

I am freshly back from Stitch-Con 2026, and honestly, the most surreal part of the entire weekend was being recognised by six total strangers. 🫣 I still can’t quite believe it! It was such an awesome few days full of beautiful stash, cross-stitch finishes, and more.

I've started a sketch for a Dungeon Crawler Carl cross-stitch pattern.
It's not past the design stage yet! And obviously it isn't anywhere near being a cross-stitch pattern, too but I'm too excited not to share.
What do you think of the concept so far?
