Currently restoring and rebuilding my 90s-era studio (#ensoniq, Lexicon, MOTU, Alesis) to keep from descending into madness as I try to figure out how to thwart Project 2025 and pit Trumpists against Republicans to hobble the GOP

I really like the ESQ-1 from @cherryaudio.bsky.social It’s well made for sound designers.
I’m also impressed that they managed to get Creative Technology to do something — anything — with their Ensoniq IP. Dunno how that happened.

Man, March 2026 has been a great month for #Ensoniq enthusiasts. (Well, at least for Mac users.) Between Temecula DSP’s DP/4 emulator (temeculadsp.com/deep4) and now this ASR-X editor/emulator/librarian byme.today/softshop.html we can really change the way we use these tools.

@kqedforum.bsky.social my brain didn’t kick in fast enough to decode the first syllable of what my wife was saying. “Would you feed the dog” became “‘d’you feed the dog?” I’d say no and she’d get angry. Hearing aids really helped with that. My brain did not have to bear so much of the load.
