Welcome, Dr. Gary Gershony, who joins UCSF Cardiology in September. Dr. Gershony is an interventional cardiologist and former director of cardiovascular research at John Muir Health. At UCSF, he will provide outpatient, inpatient, and cardiac catheterization services.

Welcome Dr. David Wang, who is joining UCSF Cardiology in September. He completed a structural interventional fellowship at UCSF and interventional and cardiology fellowships at Stanford. Dr. Wang will provide care in the cardiac cath lab at UCSF Medical Center and UCSF Stanyan Hospital.

Drs. Huie Lin & David Wang enrolled a patient in the COMPASSION 3 study, evaluating the Edwards Lifesciences SAPIEN 3 for patients with failing surgical or transcatheter bioprosthetic aortic valve. The first enrollment in 9 yrs and the 1st interventional cardiology device trial at Mission Bay.
