I not only went to a baseball game for the 1st time in ages Friday, I got in line for food at one of the concessions. Guy directly in front of me got two beers, slammed one, and THEN walked away with the other.

This entire album is beautiful in its heartbreak. I can't recall an album, frankly, that has has such an amazingly cohesive vibe to it, and even if the vibe is sadness & loss, it's SO worth listening to from start to finish.

The last 4 1/2 minutes is an impromptu jam session that followed the intended end of the song. The lads didn't know the entire thing, jam and all, was recorded. They liked it and kept it on the album. I am so glad they did.

I picked this up at @therobintheatre.bsky.social - a wonderful place - and these stories are definitely unique. Less murder mystery (what I was expecting 🙄) and more existential dread in a not-terribly-serious style.
