Bizarre things that happened in your assembly: A neighbour of one of the teachers gave us a five-minute lecture about kwashiorkor which involved him reciting a list of his favourite words (yes, ‘kwashiorkor’ was one of them). Included the unforgettable phrase, “Diarrhoea, another beautiful word.”
Some dancers once came to our school once and did a routine to Uptown Girl in the middle of assembly. I've still no idea why.

I'm the only one in my house who watches D+, and it's for Marvel. Which is funny because you can find Marvel movies on blu-ray used for like $4. You can (and should) cancel D+ and buy everything you need to get caught up for Avengers Doomsday with what you'd pay for two months of service.

I got a rejection from a nonprofit I applied to, and I told them I’d come do the job for free as a volunteer for a while so they could see if I’m a good fit at no cost. Also mentioned it’d be a pay cut for me if they did hire me but I’d accept it.

I only ever got to see like two episodes of this, because for some reason my local stations always put the good cartoons on at like 2:30 PM weekdays or 6 AM on Saturday. I was always busy either with homework or getting bullied at Cub Scouts.

I’m trying to figure out how to letter comics in Affinity Designer on my iPad Pro, and the masking feature is breaking my brain. IIRC, when you mask in any other program, you put an object over the layer, and it hides the image below depending on B/W balance. In Affinity, it’s the opposite.

So you can emulate a 3DS on a Steam Deck and it’ll cruise along, but it looks…awkward. You don’t want to show just one screen and miss something, but the resolution math on fitting two at once isn’t mathing.

People complain about “homework” when it comes to the MCU like one of those movies is probably on FX right now. I’ve seen “Eternals” three times at the gym. My Mom didn’t give a shit about Marvel but if she got to see Chris Hemsworth, the clicker was put on the coffee table.
