We make moment-specific (unscripted) theatre. We love creating people with all their complexities and mundanity on stage. What joy. :)
We had a cracker of a week last week! And here are a few comments folk committed to social media to share their thoughts with their followers and communities. We're really grateful to everyone who came, and everyone who helped us make it!

We have the greatest pleasure in saying our run, which starts tomorrow, has sold all the tickets!
*There may be a few house seats available on the door if everyone squeezes up, but that's our allocation officially all gone*

We're nearly at complete capacity all week for the show - grab a ticket quickly if you want in!

Today was get-in day! Vans, lights, sound, set, tape, and ladders... 🙂

What did y'all think of the finale to Stranger Things? There's not a little overlap with some of the themes of our show next week...monstrous humanoids with tendrils, tentacles, parallel worlds, those who should know better messing with the mind...that kind of thing.

We hope you're having a magnificent Christmas! We've been watching 'A Ghost Story for Christmas' on BBC - perfect tone for our upcoming show! www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis...
A Ghost Story for Christmas - The Room in the Tower
Roger has been haunted by a recurring dream, a mysterious house and an unseen terror. He becomes disturbed as they become reality. What is lurking in the room in the tower?

One of our favourite warm-ups is 'Improv Yoga'. Someone will name an obscure, made-up yoga pose, someone else will lead us in adopting the pose. This week, it was show-themed... 😃

5 slimy things
4 candles burning
3 incantations
2 portals to Hell
And the sense of dark despair in a pear tree...

If you're stuck for a last minute gift for the role-player / horror-lover / lover of niche comedy-drama, gift them some tickets for our show in January!

One very Cambridge-y Christmas traditions is the annual Christmas Head. A rowing race organised by the City of Cambridge Rowing Club. Here are a few fabulous photos taken from a few years' ago that were in @cambridgeindy.bsky.social - one is of @carlakeen.bsky.social old rowing club, Cambridge 99s!

We already have a fan of the show!

Yesterday, we went to one of Cambridge's most joyous annual events Mill Road Winter Fair - mulled cider, tasty hog roast (plus vegetarian alternative) featured heavily! It was nice to see Dale's Brewery and oysters for sale after both featured in today's rehearsal!

And...we're no slouches on the #performing #directing front either! Erica's been directing her students in #Guys&Dolls, which is playing this week in #BuryStEdmunds. And Carla has been playing alt comedy and cabaret nights in London, appearing as various characters/clowns. 😃

Today is National Illustration Day, so what better day than to show this, which is the poster image for our next show (January 14-17, Corpus Playroom, Cambridge).

Well, it's the end of the holiday season, so we've said the final goodbyes to the visitors, put away the karaoke machine, stored the suitcases, and swept aside the beaded curtain for the last time. Four great shows in four completely different places.

Last night was the last 'Last Resort' and we spent it in Costa Rica! With offers aplenty (including finding more requests for 'hot men' in the pile...our audiences have *ahem* specific requests...) We've had a blast, photos soon!
April 13, 2025 at 7:38 PM
Last night's offers were: hot (but not too hot), hot men (not the first time we've seen that!), and zoo/farm/animals...

Last night's show was a good 'un. From the offers below we took 'Adults only (no kids)', 'outdoor games', and 'fantasy of living there'.

Technical and dress rehearsal today! We had swan pedaloes, feta sales men, and a very odd night club... Show starts tomorrow!

Here's a timely article for the show. Some great tips for the ideal way to pack...though it doesn't take into account your kids' favourite pet rock, a cat who won't get out your suitcase, or the wheels that mean you go over cabin allowance!
