The only thing so far about the OOT remake that bugs me is Link’s hat.
Materials texturing is always good. I can take or leave the extra decorative details and layering. But the tassels on the hat alters the silhouette.

I think I’ve outdone myself in 3D design and resin printing. I wasn’t sure I could both print and paint lettering that tiny.

I think what I like most about this is that yes, it's fun it retains the proportions and articulation of the original 1980 kit, but even more so, it reminds that while the Gundam is contextually a robot, the depiction through animation is distinctly of a guy. And this is definitely a guy.

I just whipped this up in 5 minutes with as many common elements as I recognized. Way more than a simple pose reference. Surely this isn't appropriate for the retail release?
