I read that Nazi Germany was all for eating German grown food. It was labeled so ppl could know it was. So, would the kind of nationalism that makes you buy groceries marked with "produced in *your home country*", signal that we're way off? I thought it was less costly & better for the environment

It hit me a while ago, that I've met a person who met Dr Mengele in her lifetime. A survivor. She came to our school, when I was a teenager, to tell her story.

How many scientific discoveries, are the works of Nazi Germany? Does it even matter? The question about scientific research in the 1800s & early to mid 1900s, will still remain about ethics, wherever it was conducted.

I've been reading up on Nazi Germany since 2022... It's scary how much the world has become similar to the world right before WWII. I think a lot of people don't know that. The ones who do, and still comply... are in my opinion the ones to be scared of.
