As of today, the CDC has changed (reverted) their Covid guidance to make the vaccine recommended for all people over 18. In addition to being a smart public health move, this recommendation also means insurance must cover it.

tried using @mapquest.com for turn-by-turn nav instead of GoogleMaps. works reasonably well! it had some trouble pinpointing where exactly I was (which all GPS do to some degree), but OTOH I got to be a tiny wizard on the map instead of a car

Absolutely astouding statistic about the #Dragoncon blood drive - it is the third largest blood drive in the WORLD.

update: there is a plane circling around nearby our hotel towing a banner that says “C U IN HELL,” which I think means either someone downtown just got VERY DIVORCED, or the Dragoncon street preachers are trying something new this year
