I used Fable 5.1 to run an AI research project given a bioinformatics research idea (cross links +AlphafoldDB), with the objective of producing a submission folder (manuscript, figures, code, supplementary files, cover letter). It did so in about 7h with still fairly poor results. The process:

So @thesbhowmick.bsky.social adopted a dual-CRISPRi approach to silence two genes per cell in a highly diverse heterogenous pool. This was done similarly for B. subtilis and S. pneumo by the labs of Carol Gross and @veeninglab.com.
