Baking a Better Place - Veg Out
One of the things that made me love my husband more is our shared appreciation for this movie, so I made cookies to pair with it that I knew he'd love.

We need more movies like this that push the boundaries of what movies can be while using some of the techniques that have been tried and true in the medium. I cannot wait to see what Boots Riley does next!

I love a good genre-bending time at the movies, and “I Love Boosters” perfectly fits the bill.

The Washington Post published a clear video of federal agents removing Alex Pretti's handgun moments before he was fatally shot. There's nothing in the video to suggest Pretti even reached for his weapon.

I just do not know what to say. I was at the breakfast table today with someone visiting and they basically parroted the administration statement that Alex Pretti was attacking ICE.
I watched multiple videos yesterday and flatly said he was not.
I cannot stay silent in these conversations. 🖕🧊

I just put on an Angela Lansbury movie from the 1950s called Please Murder Me. In my head, I kept thinking of it as a prequel to Murder She Wrote.

That is called murder when they do that.
Some cops are working hard to convince people otherwise.
