I still feel I pretty regularly have to kind of contain the parts of myself that I identify with most and its pretty draining. I wish I was in a better position to act they way I want to but I understand the offputting nature of it.

I'm convinced DAW's are designed by an evil alien race destined on destroying our joy for music. I've never encountered a single DAW that doesn't make every single interaction a complete nightmare to the point where even the absolute bare minimum action of recording music becomes impossible.
