I don’t think any court should be allowed to consider the question “is the president allowed to try to overthrow democracy?” and any court that does should be understood as having nullified itself, its authority, and all its past and future rulings.

It’s not surprising but still jarring to see so many of the politicians claiming to be on “the good side” come out harder to defend a literal traitor to the country who worked for decades to erode civil rights than they ever have try to protect civil rights or save the country from criminal traitors

The Voting Rights Act is essentially dead and it’s quite possible that we will, like when a similar SCOTUS gutted civil rights at the fall of Reconstruction, see a disappearance of much of the Black congressional representation, especially in the most heavily Black states, which are in the South.
