Hey, I’m Megan! I make art sometimes, usually about video games or cats! Looking forward to finding my own little corner of the bluesky art community 💖

My interpretation of a tattoo found on the body of a 2,500 year old Siberian mummy. There's so much motion in the original design, dynamic movement in simple linework is difficult for artists today!

This 6x12 wood panel piece is for sale. DM me if you're interested!

I think this might be my favorite channel on YouTube right now! Maigomika makes incredible videos about life in rural Japan. The cinematography and storytelling gives me that warm-fuzzy feeling in my heart ❤️
(Except when they show the creepy crawlies!! lol)

'Dunvegan', Alberta, Canada - I can finally share this embroidery landscape commission, quite the most intricate piece I've ever created, and I'm so so proud! To me, it really represents how far I've come since I started in 2019. The hoop is 14-inches across to help visualise it 1/2 #embroidered
An embroidery hoop against a stone slab background. The embroidery hoop contains a sewn aerial landscape depicting the Dunvegan bridge over a river, with the south of the river consisting of a tree and grass landscape and the north having the same mixed in with agricultural fields and houses. A road cuts through the whole landscape and the left side has smaller rivers feeding into the main one.

My latest cartoon for New Scientist.
First panel: a line of modern electric cars. Second panel: A woman and a man are talking. She is holding a book. She says "It's hard to get excited about these new electric cars when I've seen much ambitious possibilities in fiction" "Sci-fi fan, huh?" he asks Third panel. "Uhh... yeah. Sci-fi." she says unsurely, looking at her book. Fourth panel: We can see a page of the book. It shows animals happily driving food-shaped cars in the style of Richard Scarry. The cars are labelled: Pickle car, Apple car and Hotdog car.
