With only a few turns left, our Battle of Friedland for "Valour and Fortitude" is very much in the balance. French have a slight lead on points, but there are still an awfully lot of Russians on the way. @armchairdragoons.bsky.social

Look, a double battle like St. Barthelemy was always going to be a bit nuts. The Germans are having at the Americans, but the latter is giving as good as they're getting. I have no idea who's ahead, but it's a good time. All for "I Ain't Been Shot Mum". @armchairdragoons.bsky.social

If they were forced to it, the French at this early portion of Eylau would have admitted they were about to throw in the towel right before Markov's massive brigade began to collapse securing them a costly victory. All for "Valour and Fortitude". @armchairdragoons.bsky.social

On the south table of our St. Barthelemy double-battle, the Amis mauled an entire company of Panthers. Matters are more touch-and-go in the north where a cautious German approach is carefully looking for targets. All for "I Ain't Been Shot Mum". @armchairdragoons.bsky.social

The French rolled up the Russians at Landsberg, bringing home a fairly clear win. We then pivoted quickly to a prelude to Eylau that now has the French on the advance and the Russian grenadiers bracing for a scrap. System is "Valour and Fortitude". @armchairdragoons.bsky.social

My head feels like it's been in a blender, but the Marengo Campaign-in-a-Day for "Snappy Nappy" is off to a roaring start. Napoleon and Melas are on the march, but the fight on Turin is rolling hot without them. @armchairdragoons.bsky.social

You had to figure a giant-sized, double "I Ain't Been Shot Mum" battle would take a while to set up and so it did. Once St. Barthelemy got rolling, however, it didn't take long for both sides to start hammering one another with abandon. Early times. @armchairdragoons.bsky.social

Our playtest of the Battle of Landsberg for "Valour and Fortitude" was a good session. The Russians held out well until their Jaegers discovered a wine wagon (seriously) and many staggered from the field. Now it's Markov's brigade's chance to save the day.

The Russians posted a win in our Battle of Friedland, crushing the French left and threatening to ruin the balance, but several on both sides said they wanted a re-match and soon. Best possible recommendation. Rules were "Valour and Fortitude". @armchairdragoons.bsky.social
